The annual conference traditionally consists of a study section on the first day and the general meeting of the Federal Association on the second day.
Study part
„Catholic halls of residence on the web and social media - a balancing act between student target group, wishes from the ordinariates and realities on site“.
As a first step, the question of which media (and the design of such media) is appropriate for the target group should be investigated. How can this go hand in hand with special requirements and wishes that some BOs would like to have - and at the same time, how and what can be achieved by the dormitory in everyday working life?
The challenge for all of our halls of residence is to design something for a target group that is usually much younger than those who ultimately create such an offer - and also the particularity that the commodity we offer (namely attractive places in halls of residence) is an absolute scarce commodity. In this respect, the demand is immense, regardless of our presence on the internet or social media. Nevertheless, both the individual halls and the federal association itself have a great interest in making an appropriate impression on students.
In a second part, we are also particularly interested in the question of how prevention concepts can and should be presented and prepared for the media. After last year's training course dealt with protection concepts, which many of our member institutions are currently working on, sooner or later the question arises as to how and where such a concept should be presented.
General meeting
In addition to the usual regularities, the by-election of a further Board member as an assessor is also on the agenda.
