Mission statement

The federal association supports its members and offers them a platform for mutual exchange and networking. In addition to questions regarding the organization and structure of Catholic student residences, university pastoral aspects, integration into the church and cooperation with university parishes also play an important role.

The Federal Association advises its members on the elaboration and further development of their own profiles, provides materials for this purpose and organizes further training for staff.

The federal association carries out public relations work and supports its members. As a federal association, it actively seeks discussions with representatives from the church and politics.

Catholic student residences are characterized by their personal offer, which gives residents support and orientation in a sensitive phase of their lives. Living with us means living in a social environment that enables community in a variety of ways. Christian faith and the church are lived and experienced in our halls of residence through pastoral care and community.

Catholic student residences offer affordable and attractive living space. They enable residents to play an active role in shaping the life of the residence. Extensive programs provide additional stimulation and open up new perspectives. Young people from different nations, cultures, religions and disciplines live in our halls of residence. There is a constant exchange between them, to which everyone contributes their own background, experiences and opinions. This opens up an intensive discourse between people, universities, society and religion.
